FANTASTIC MOON (Sea the Moon-FRANGIPANI) delivered a sensational performance in the Grosser Preis von Baden-Baden in the hands of his jockey Rene Piechulek storming home with his incredible turn of foot from last to first in ideal conditions - good ground and a fast run race, documented by the fastest time in the race for the last 24 years. Trained by Sarah Steinberg and owned by Liberty Racing who purchased FANTASTIC MOON at the BBAG Yearling Sales the Champion 2yo and 3yo colt bred by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG won his 7th race and second on Gr.1 level and has now earned more then €860.000, not bad for a horse purchased for €49.000 when consigned by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK.
