The 2yo WIKINGER by TEN SOVEREIGNS wins the most valuable 2yo race in Germany - the Ferdinand Leisten-Memorial at Baden-Baden with a total prizemoney of €200.000 and €100.000 to the winner. WIKINGER was prepped at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN for the BBAG Yearling Sales, where he was consigned and sold by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK to his trainer Gerald Geisler and the owner Cometic AG. The 2yo colt, which is bred by Gestüt Höny-Hof was ridden on his only 2nd start by Adrie de Vries to a quite convincing victory.
