09/10/22 2yo Fantastic Moon wins the Preis des Winterfavoriten, Gr.3

FANTASTIC MOON by SEA THE MOON ex FRANGIPANI became the 1st homebred 2yo Groupwinner for GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG winning the Preis des Winterfavoriten, Gr.3 at Cologne. 

Bred and raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and sold by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the BBAG Yearling Sales to Liberty Racing, FANTASTIC MOON is trained by Sarah Steinberg and was ridden by Rene Piechulek. Winning this race - usually the best race for 2yo colts - he looks like the Champion 2yo in Germany in 2022.

FANTASTIC MOON is the 2nd foal out of FRANGIPANI, who has a yearling filly by STARSPANGLEDBANNER named FANG MICH and a filly foal by MASAR. Unfortunatley she resorbed this year carrying to HELLO YOUMZAIN
