10/03/21 Travel Datuk, the former Rockaway Valley won at Happy Valley

TRAVEL DATUK by HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR finally got his head in front on his 49th start in Hongkong. Very consistent and quite often beaten only by small margins he got lucky to put his head in front nearly 6 years after he won his Maiden at 2 years on the Curragh as ROCKAWAY VALLEY in the care of Jessica Harrington. After being placed in the Tower Stakes, Gr.3 and Railway Stakes, Gr.2 he was sold to Hongkong where he is in the care of Richard Gibson. He now has won more than €525.000.

TRAVEL DATUK was purchased as a foal by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales for GNS70.000 raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and resold at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales for GNS165.000 to BBA Ireland on behalf of Mill House LLC. He was one of the successful pinhooks for STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK in the second year buying for his PINHOOKING SYNDICATE.
