06/02/21 Zegna foaled a colt by Zarak at Northmore Stud
the second foal of 2021 for Graf und Gräfin Stauffenberg is one of the very few foals for them not born at Schlossgut Itlingen
Normally more or less all foals bred by GRAF UND GRĂ„FIN STAUFFENBERG are born at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN. But due to Brexit and the expected travel problems ZEGNA was sent to Northmore Stud in England in December 2020 to foal there, as she is booked to SEA THE MOON this year. There she foaled a colt by ZARAK at 3:45pm.
ZEGNA is bred by GRAF UND GRĂ„FIN STAUFFENBERG as well. She was sold as a yearling to AB Ascot at the BBAG Yearling Sales, but bought back privatley after she had become a classic winner in Norway, having won Oaks there. Her first foal ZAHARA followed straight in her footsteps. She was sold at the BBAG Yearling Sales to AB Ascot and won for them winning the Oaks in Norway as well. She boards now for them at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and is booked to LE HAVRE in 2021
