There is no doubt that PINHOOKING is a high risk investment and last year proved to be very patchy to say the least for many of the pinhooking fraternity. However STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK once again came out on the good side with their foal to yearling PINHOOKS. Having purchased 9 foals for a little bit more than €700.000 at the foal sales in 2018 and having sold them for more than €1.400.000 at this years yearling sales was a more than pleasing result. So Philipp Stauffenberg and his team were out again at the foal sales to search for stock for him and his clients.

STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK ended up with 3 colts from the Goffs November Foal Sales, 3 colts from the Tattersalls December Foal Sales and 1 filly from the Arqana December Mixed Sale. The prizes ranged from €25.000 for a colt from the 1st crop of MONDIALISTE to €190.000 for a filly by leading young sire WOOTTON BASSETT. All of the FOALS were taken to SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN where they will be raised and being taken care for in the forthcoming month.
