22/04/18 Four Roses delivered an other cracking colt by Maxios

FOUR ROSES (Darshaan-Fraulein Tobin) foaled her 13th foal at 21:47, her 11th colt in a row and an other cracking one by MAXIOS. Her yearling FANTAST is by him as well and will head to one of the leading sales in the autumn. 

FOUR ROSES was only in training as a 2yo and was held in high regards by her trainer, but was not allowed to race by her breeders after the death of her sire DARSHAAN was announced and she being the only daughter of the foundation mare FRAULEIN TOBIN for her breeders Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg. She foaled two fillies at the beginning of her career, both of which have been sold as yearlings. The first, the filly FLY ME TO THE MOON from the first crop of Epsom Derby winner GALILEO was sold to Darley, the second FOUR SINS from the first crop of Epsom Derby and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner SINNDAR to the Aga Khan. 

FLY ME TO THE MOON was placed on her only start at 2 years in the care of Clive Brittain and was later bought back by her breeders to produce FOR ME, a Stakeswinner over jumps as her sole foal for them before she died after birth of her second foal. 

FOUR SINS became a multiple Groupwinner trained by John Oxx and was placed in the Epsom Oaks for H H The Aga Khan, who later sold her to Katsumi Yoshida.

FOUR ROSES has an up to date unraced 3yo own brother to FOUR SINS named FLINTROCK in training with Andrew Balding and her 2yo is an other own brother FABRIANO in training with Roger Varian.
