14/09/17 C'est No Mour adds second 'Derby' at Epsom after Flers and Qool stroke at Mons and Cologne earlier in the week
all three have been offered at the BBAG Yearling Sale
The first race in September was won by
FLERS (Verglas-
FIREDANCE) at Mons in Belgium. Trained by Ecurie Fieviez, who own him as well, the now 8yo gelding won his 9th race under S Vermeersch. Bred by Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg at their
SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN he was sold by
STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK as a yearling to Gerard Augustin-Normand at the BBAG Yearling Sales and won for him twice at 3 in France before he was sold on to his current connections.
FLERS is the 3rd winner for his dam
FIREDANCE in 2017 and the 6th overall from 7 runners.
The 3yo filly
QOOL by
SOLDIER HOLLOW won the second race of her career in the colours of her breeder Ricardo Cantoni at Cologne. Trained by Markus Klug she was ridden in the race by Adrie de Vries and scored by 3 length.
QOOL was prepped at
SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and offered at the BBAG Yearling Sales by
STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK, but did not meet her reserve.
C'EST NO MOUR (Champs Elysees-
C'EST L'AMOUR) annexed his second "Derby" at Epsom when he won the Lexus Jump Jockey Derby Handicap under Leighton Aspell. The 4yo is now trained by Peter Hedger and owned by David Wilbrey and it was his 4th win for these connections.
C'EST NO MOUR was originally named
CIDRE by his breeders Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg and sold at the BBAG Yearling Sales by
STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK to David Redvers on behalf of Qatar Racing. Named now
C'EST LA VIE he was put into training with Andreas Wohler but never hit the track for these connections. Subsequently he was sold at the Tattersalls Horses in Training Sale and renamed again to
C'EST NO MOUR and has been very lucky despite having changed his name again. His dam
C'EST L'AMOUR was barren for 2 years, but is now in foal to
HELMET.
