15/07/17 Mukhayyam and Severus won in England and Ireland

MUKHAYYAM is by DARK ANGEL, but he is not at home at short distances as most of the offspring of his sire. He follows more his damline, which excelled when stamina was required. He was pinhooked by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK from foal to yearling and raised and prepped at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN. MUKHAYYAM won the Unibet Handicap at York, his 4th race in quite good style. Owned by T Scothern and trained by T Easterby, he was ridden by David Allan. MUKHAYYAM won twice as a 2yo for Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum, when in training with Sir Michael Stoute.

Born and raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN for his breeder Capricorn Stud was SEVERUS who won the K Club Handicap on the Curragh for W Flynn and his trainer D Donovan. He was ridden to his 9th win by Pat Smullen.
