Just before midnight on Easter Monday foaled LA REINE NOIR a strong filly foal by LORD OF ENGLAND weighing 57kg. The filly traces back to the same dam in the sire- and damline. LOVE IN is the 3rd dam of LORD OF ENGLAND and the 4th of LA REINE NOIR. Additional LIRANGA, the sires 2nd dam is by LITERAT, whereas LA CONCORDIA the 2nd dam of LA REINE NOIR is by his best son the breed shaping SURUMU.

LOVE IN was one of the foundation mares for Walter J Jacobs for Gestut Fahrhof and LA CONCORDIA was purchased privately by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK back in 1995 as one of the foundation mares for Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg. The couples best horse they bred so far is her grand daughter the Gr.1 winner LADY MARIAN, the sister to LA REINE NOIR.

LA REINE NOIR has a 2yo colt by MAXIOS named LENNOX in training with Pascal Bary. He was purchased at the BBAG Yearling Sale by the partnership of Flaxman Holdings and Gestut Fahrhof where MAXIOS resides. LENNOX has an entry for the Epsom Derby 2018. This years yearling is an own brother to LENNOX
