On the late afternoon QUEENSBERRY by TERTULLIAN foaled a well made filly foal by OASIS DREAM at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN. After she had to have a caesarian last year carrying her first foal by SIYOUNI, it was a relieve for the whole team that everything went right this year and that QUEENSBERRY foaled a filly foal and thus might be able to continue the legacy of LA TROIENNE, one of the most influential and breed shaping broodmares of the 20th century.

QUEENSBERRY is the last foal of QUEENS WILD by SPECTACULAR BID, a mare purchased when already 20 years old by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at Keeneland January Sales 2006 to be mated with SEATTLE DANCER especially to reinforce the inbreeding to LA TROIENNE. Bred by Paul Mellon QUEENS WILD was purchased after his death by Claiborne Farm and Adele Dillschneider in 1992 being by Champion SPECTACULAR BID and sister to 2yo Gr.1 winner EASTERN ECHO.

QUEENSBERRY is the last foal of QUEENS WILD and won one race during her career. OASIS DREAM being a grandson of DANZIG it is the same cross as ON LEAVE who is by WAR FRONT out of her sister MEGHAN'S JOY and QUEENSBERRY is booked to an other sire from that line in 2017 as she is visiting Epsom Derby and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner GOLDEN HORN
