29/05/16 LYCIDAS bolts home by 20 length...

his fourth win and first over jumps

Lycidas0810kl.jpgLYCIDAS (Zamindar-La Felicita) won in impressive style leading from the start to the finish by at the end 20 length under young Lucy Alexander for J Gordon. LYCIDAS is now in training with James Ewart, having started as a 2yo with Toby Coles, for whom he won at his second start. Highly talented, he unfortunately got a hairline fracture at his first start at 3, and had to be given quite a long break. When Toby gave up training, he was transferred to Charlie Fellowes, for whom he won a big handicap at York.

LYCIDAS is bred by Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg at their SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and was catalogued at the BBAG Yearling Sales and Tattersalls October Sales, but could not make it to the ring, as he got lame beforehand, having trouble with his feet. So the well bred horse changed hands privately.
