21/04/16 last foal of the season is a colt by Maxios out of La Reine Noir

Just before midnight LA REINE NOIR (Rainbow Quest-La Felicita) foaled the last foal of the season at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN, a brown colt by MAXIOS. The placed sister to Gr.1 winner LADY MARIAN has already a very good yearling by MAXIOS, named LENNOX. She is booked to SIYOUNI for this season.

In LAVIRCO the grandsire of MAXIOS, the sole Triple Crown winner in Germany KONIGSSTUHL has produced a Derbywinner with this fantastic damline. LA VIRGINIA, the dam of LAVIRCO, is the own sister to LA CONCORDIA, the 2nd dam of LA REINE NOIR, whom STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK purchased privately from Walther J Jacobs, the founder of Fahrhof in 1995, before LAVIRCO had raced and became Champion 2yo and 3yo.

However of the 10 living foals of 2016 for Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg - a colt by SIYOUNI out of QUEENSBERRY died unfortunately despite a caesarian - 6 colts and 4 fillies were bred by the couple.
