20/04/15 La Reine Noir foaled her first colt after Maxios

LA REINE NOIR (Rainbow Quest-La Felicita) foaled last night at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN. After three fillies, she now has a colt by MAXIOS. LA REINE NOIR is sister to the Gr.1 winner LADY MARIAN and the Gr.3 winner LUCIDOR. Her 3yo daughter LA BOHEME by MONTJEU is with Luca Cumani and due to give her debut at Sandown this Friday. LA REINE NOIR has a yearling filly by LAWMAN on the farm, which is called LIAISON DANGEREUSE. 

The 3rd dam of this colt is LA CONCORDIA, one of the foundation mares of Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg, when purchased privately from Walther J Jacobs, the founder of Gestut Fahrhof. They celebrated a revival of this family in the last eight days, as LACY and LA SALDANA won a Listed and a Gr.3 respectively. Their second dams LA VIRGINIA and LA COLORADA are both own sisters to LA CONCORDIA and tracing back to LOVE IN, one of the foundation mares of Fahrhof back in the sixties.
