02/09/14 BBAG Yearling Sale with fantastic result for Stauffenberg Bloodstock

The BBAG Yearling Sale, Germany's most important sale for thoroughbreds ended overall with a very good result. The demand for horses from this sale continues to increase through the excellent results achieved by the incredible good race results of it's graduates. 

STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK consigned 11 yearlings by leading sires out of some very good mares and was quite confident to reach a good result, but never thought of being leading vendor, as there were some bigger drafts full of quality horses. However the average of the 10 yearlings sold by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK was €99.200, whereas the whole sale had an average of €46.539. 

The highest prize was for Lot 205, a filly by DANSILI out of VIA MEDICI, which was purchased by Meridian Bloodstock for €260.000. She was prepared and sold on behalf of Haras de Saint Pair.
