29/05/14 Queensberry won at Magdeburg
tracing back to the mighty La Troienne, the filly has now earned her place at the stud
QUEENSBERRY (Tertullian-
Queens Wild) won her Maiden for her breeders Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg at Magdeburg. She is trained by Roland Dzubasz at Hoppegarten and was ridden by Cesare Tessarin.
Her dam
QUEENS WILD was purchased by
STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the Keeneland January Sales with the view to establish the family of
LA TROIENNE at
SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN. At the time Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg were shareholders in
SEATTLE DANCER and as he was most successful with mares carrying
LA TROIENNE the purchase made even more sense. However the only offspring out of the two was a colt.
At the time of purchase
QUEENS WILD was already 20 years old, but she had produced some talented winners, was out of G2W
WILD APPLAUSE and sister to G1W
EASTERN ECHO.
It is of note, that the only G1W by TERTULLIAN is out of this family
