01/05/14 CAPICHERA is the next 3yo winner

and the first homebred in 2014

Capichera010514kl.jpgThe 3yo filly CAPICHERA (Shirocco-Centaine) is the first homebred winner for Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg in 2014. Trained by Andreas Woehler and ridden by Eddie Pedroza, she won in quite good style with 3 length over 2000m at Munich racecourse.
CAPICHERA is the last foal of CENTAINE, who won the German Oaks in these colours back in 1995. CENTAINE unfortunately died after the birth and so CAPICHERA was raised by a foster mare. Whether she can follow in the footprints of her dam, is unknown at the moment, but she made the next step in that direction.
CAPICHERA became the seventh winner of the offspring of CENTAINE, the most successful being Gr.3 winner CALRISSIAN and the Stakes winner CLIFFROSE so far.
