30/11/13 Tattersalls December Foal Sales

STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK offered four foals on Friday and Saturday at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales. The first foal in the ring was a colt by SEA THE STARS out of FOUR ROSES. He was bought by the highly succesful pinhooker Paddy Twomey for relativley little money and will be reoffered for sale next year. The next one was GWENDOLYN (Invincible Spirit-GOLDEN WHIP) and she was bought by Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg to dissolve a partnership between them and the Irish National Stud. On Saturday came the two remaining colts in the ring. First was a colt by DUKE OF MARMALADE out , which was sold to Ryochi Ohtsuka from Japan. Last but not least was FRASER (High Chaparral-FLAMES TO DUST). He was purchased by Chasemore Farm of Andrew Black to be reoffered next year.
