Classic winner ZEGNA returns as broodmare

ZEGNA (Shirocco-ZEPHYRINE) was sold to Ascot AB from Sweden at the BBAG Yearling Sales 2010. Now she returns to SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN as a broodmare after Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg bought her back. 

Since ZEGNA was sold, she became the second classic winner for her dam ZEPHYRINE when she won the Norsk Oaks with 3 length.  Her son ZENATO had won the Swedish Derby in 2004. 

As the last filly foal out of ZEPHYRINE by MONSUN had to be put down, it is the plan, that ZEGNA will replace her mother at one stage, as she will be 20 next year.
