02/06/13 NOW WE CAN won Grand Prix de Chantilly

6 starts, 5 wins and now a Gr.2!!! NOW WE CAN (Martillo-NOTRE DAME) is stepping up the ladder and won the Grand Prix de Chantilly, Gr.2 on French Derby day. He is now rated amongst the best French 4yos and older horses. Trained by Nicolas Clement, NOW WE CAN is running in the colours of Hong Kong CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, whose former wife and sisters in law bred him at their Gestut Zoppenbroich.

NOTRE DAME was privately purchased by Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg in December 2011 and resides now at their SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN. The mare comes from a family full of Stakeswinners, that Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg were keen to establish since years. However the start was quite frustrating, as the 2012 foal out by SHIROCCO was born with a cleft palate and had to be put down. In 2013 NOTRE DAME foaled a strong filly by LAWMAN, which is called NESSUN DORMA and she is now in foal to SIYOUNI
