25/11/12 Lucky Chappy 3rd in Hollywood Derby

3yo LUCKY CHAPPY finished 3rd in the Hollywood Derby, Gr.1. Owned by Team Valor and trained by Graham Motion LUCKY CHAPPY seems to be tough as nails and to flourish especially in the autumn. Last year he finished an unlucky 4th in the Breeder's Cup Juvenile, Gr.1 in November.  Being out of GERMANE, LUCKY CHAPPY is a grandson of the foundation mare of Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg FRAULEIN TOBIN. They still have two active daughters in FOUR ROSES and FIREDANCE. 

FOUR ROSES by DARSHAAN has a yearling colt FOUR CARAT by MONTJEU, which is going into training with Andre Fabre and a colt foal by GALILEO. She is currently in foal to SEA THE STARS. 

FIREDANCE by LOMITAS has a colt foal FIREWORK by LORD OF ENGLAND and is back in foal to the relative of LOMITAS. 

FIREWORK is Lot 1225 at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales and is one of three foals consigned by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK
