25/05/12 3yo NOW WE CAN quite an impressive winner at Saint-Cloud

3yo NOW WE CAN (Martillo-NOTRE DAME) became the 7th winner from as many runners of his dam when winning his Maiden at the second time of asking. Trained by Nicolas Clement in Chantilly the colt won in the colours of HKJC CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges in quite good style. NOW WE CAN is bred by Gestut Zoppenbroich and his dam was privately purchased by Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg at the end of 2011. Zoppenbroich has retained a 2yo filly by THREE VALLEYS, called NOBILITY, which is in training with Erika Maeder. NOTRE DAME has no yearling, nor a foal, as her 2012 colt by SHIROCCO had to be put down a few days after birth. However now NOTRE DAME is in foal to LAWMAN.
