11/04/12 Zuider Zee second in the Further Flight Stakes

ZUIDER ZEE (Sakhee-ZEPHYRINE) performed very well at his debut, when finishing second at Nottingham in the Further Flight Stakes, L., the first test for the good stayers in England. Having finished third in a Stakes in France at his final start 2011, this was a quite encouraging result for the 2012 season. ZUIDER ZEE is bred by Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg, was sold through STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK as a foal at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales and is trained by John Gosden  for HRH Princess Haya of Jordan. He won 4 races so far, his biggest so far being the Doncaster November Handicap last year.

ZEPHYRINE has a smashing yearling colt by HIGH CHAPARRAL, named ZILBER, who will be sold at one of the major yearling sales and was covered by MONSUN this year.
