18/02/11 BRIGHT SPARKY won in England

6th success for the durable gelding

The now 8yo BRIGHT SPARKY (Dashing Blade-Braissim) won his 6th race in England. Sold as a yearling at the Tattersalls October Sales Part II, the now gelding is bred by Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg. Even if he is not a classy horse, his owners have enjoyed a lot of success. Started just 2 days after his second birthday for the first time, BRIGHT SPARKY has won in 50 starts on the flat and over the fences and is thus a testimonial, that he was reared quite well at Schlossgut Itlingen.

His mother BRAISSIM foaled three foals for Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg - all winners. The best of them was BORN TOBOUGGIE, a filly which won a Stakesrace under the tutelage of Henry Cecil. She was a bargain buy, being purchased by her owners for GNS5.00 as a foal and sold on for GNS120.000 to Japan after her success.
