01/07/24 2yo Balzarini became the next 2yo winner bred by Graf und Gräfin Stauffenberg

The 2yo BALZARINI (Dark Angel-BELLE ANGLAISE) became the first runner and winner from the 2022 crop bred by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG scoring at Royal Windsor. He was born and raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN, consigned by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the Arqana December Sales as a foal. There he was bought out of the foal-share with Yeomanstown Stud. Further raised and prepped at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN for the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales, he was consigned there by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK, but failed to sell. He was then sold privately to his trainer Stuart Williams, who owns him with a partner and was ridden by Sean Levey.

BALZARINI is the first foal out of BELLE ANGLAISE, who was trained by Stuart Williams as well and won twice at 2 years in the UK before she was moved to Germany due to the Covid restrictions in England and was several times Listed placed. She has a filly foal by SAXON WARRIOR and is in foal to MISHRIFF. BELLE ANGLAISE is a sister to the Gr.2 winner JOHANN ZOFFANY and out BELLE ALLEMANDE bred by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG as well. BELLE ALLEMANDE by ROYAL ACADEMY is sister to QUE BELLE who became a dual classic winner in the colours of Stall Stoof after being purchased by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the Goffs Orby Sale.
