18/06/24 Symbol of Honour beaten only by 1 1/4 length in the Coventry Stakes, Gr.2 at Royal Ascot

Normally we don't write news about placed horses and certainly not about horses who have finished in the money only, but as Royal Ascot is the most important race week at least in Europe if not in the world, we make an exception. 

The Gr.2 Coventry Stakes is beside the Norfolk the most important 2yo race of the meeting and we were glad to be represented with SYMBOL OF HONOUR by HAVANA GREY, a colt STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK has pinhooked and which was raised and prepped at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN. This colt looked to make a winning move at one stage, just to get a little bit unbalanced and due to inexperience finished 6th, but beaten only by 1 1/4 length behind the winner RASHABAR in a competitive field of 22 runners.
