15/06/24 3yo Fang Mich won her Maiden - on her way for the German Oaks, Gr.1?

The 3yo FANG MICH (Starspangledbanner-FRANGIPANI) won her Maiden showing a lot of speed coming from last to first - however showed a lot of greenness at only her second start. The sister to the 2023 Derbywinner and Horse of the Year FANTASTIC MOON is bred by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG and was born and raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN. She is owned by Ecki Sauren, trained by Henk Grewe and was ridden by Thore Hammer-Hansen to win her Maiden after having finished beaten by a nose on her only other start. FANG MICH is entered in the Hamburger Stutenpreis, Gr.3 next month and her long term aim are the German Oaks, Gr.1 on the 4th of August where she could meet her paddock companion LADY MARY again, another filly bred by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG.

FRANGIPANI has a 2yo filly FIRE AND ICE by MASAR, a colt foal by SEA THE STARS and is back in foal to SEA THE MOON, the sire of FANTASTIC MOON, the Champion 2yo of 2022 and Champion 3yo of 2023 in Germany
