17/04/21 Red Desert won the main race of the day in Hong Kong

His biggest payday so far had RED DESERT (Oasis Dream-CAPICHERA) the former CATAN winning the Alnwick Handicap at Sha Tin over 1.200m. He is owned by the Honorable Ronald Arculli, trained by John Size and was ridden by Antoine Hamelin.

Bred by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN he was sold as a foal at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales. He won twice as a 2yo when trained in England before he was sold to his current connections in Hong Kong. RED DESERT has now won 6 times and amassed nearly €700.000 in prize money.

CAPICHERA has now produced two winners from her two runners, but has no yearling, as her filly by SAXON WARRIOR died through an paddock accident and was not in foal last year. She is currently in foal to BATED BREATH.
