04/09/18 3yo Raphael wins in Ireland for Sheikh Hamdan

 

The 3yo RAPHAEL (Roderic O'Connor-RUSOOKH) became the 101st individual winner bred by Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg when scoring with ease at Naas in the colours of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum. Trained by Kevin Prendergast, the grand seigneur of the Irish trainers he was ridden by the young Dylan Hogan.

RAPHAEL is the first for of his dam RUSOOKH, who was bought by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the Arqana December Mixed Sales from Shadwell Stud. He was born and raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN before he was sold at the Goffs November Foal Sales.

RUSOOKH has a smashing colt by ADLERFLUG at foot and is in foal to GLENEAGLES.
