17/11/17 3yo Al Gayalel strikes twice within 2 weeks for Al Shaqab

The 3yo gelding AL GAYALEL by ZOFFANY won 2 races for Al Shaqab Racing and Luca Cumani within 2 weeks at Newcastle and Lingfield. After 2 unplaced starts in spring he was gelded and seems now to show his talent. AL GAYALEL was purchased by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales, raised and prepped at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and then sold via Charlie Gordon-Watson at Book I of the same company to his current owners. His trainer Luca Cumani believes that there is much more to come in 2018 for this big horse.

AL GAYALEL was bought for GNS85.000 as a foal and sold for GNS200.000 as a yearling 10 month later, a very good profit for the PINHOOKING SYNDICATE formed by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK
