20/04/16 FIL ROUGE wins first time out

3yo FIL ROUGE (Lord of England-FIREDANCE) won at his seasonal debut at Ovrevoll and heads now to the 2000 Guineas of Norway, which are taking place at Ovrevoll on the 16th of May. FIL ROUGE is bred by Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg at their SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and sold through STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the BBAG Yearling Sales to Stall RH. He is trained by Rune Haugen, for whom his brother FEARLESS HUNTER by ALHAARTH became a Gr.3 winner in 2015.

FIREDANCE has a 2yo filly named FRANGIPANI by JUKEBOX JURY in training with Andreas Loewe, who is held in high regards and a strong yearling colt by MAXIOS, who is named FLETCHER at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN.
