26/03/16 Notre Dame foaled a quality filly by Nayef

The multiple 3yo winner NOTRE DAME by ACATENANGO, an own sister to Gr.3 winner NOEL and sister to Gr.2 winner NOROIT foaled shortly after 1:00AM a lovely filly by NAYEF at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN. This filly will be retained to hopefully keep the line of her 20yo dam, which has produced 4 blacktype horses so far - her best being the Gr.2 winner NOW WE CAN by MARTILLO, the only GSW that stallion has produced. The now 7yo just returned with a 3rd place for his owner Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges and trainer Nicolas Clement after he was out for more than a year with a tendon injury. His 3yo sister NESSUN DORMA is in Training with Nicolas Clement as well, but is owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa al Thani, who purchased her through Bertrand le Metayer at the BBAG Yearling Sales, where she was the third highest prize. Her 2yo colt NINGALOO topped the third day of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales, when being purchased for Sheikh Mohammed Obaid al Maktoum by his trainer Simon Crisford. 

NOTRE DAME has an outstanding yearling colt by CACIQUE at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN, already named NORUMBEGA. This year she is booked to this stallion's own brother DANSILI, one of the leading sires available in Europe.
