26/05/13 3yo LUCKY SPEED wins Bavarian Classic, Gr.3

LUCKY SPEED (Silvano-Lysuna) followed the meaning of his name and showed tremendous speed, coming from the last palce to win the Bavarian Classic, Gr.3. This is one of the most important trials for the German Derby. Bred by Gestut Hof Ittlingen, LUCKY SPEED was prepared for the BBAG Yearling Sale at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and consigned and sold by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at this venue. LUCKY SPEED was purchased by the IVA of Roger Alles on behalf of Stall Hornoldendorf. Trained by Peter Schiergen and ridden by Andrasch Starke, LUCKY SPEED won his second race from only three starts and should have a legitimate chance to win the German Derby, especially when it is on soft or heavy ground.
