3yo NOW WE CAN (Martillo-NOTRE DAME) won his second race from only three starts at Chantilly. Bred by Gestüt Zoppenbroich, the colt is owned by Hong Kong Jockey Club CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, is trained by Nicolas Clement and was ridden by Thierry Thulliez. 
With the nearly complete dispersal of the breeding stock of Gestut Zoppenbroich, NOTRE DAME was purchased by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK and is currently in foal to LAWMAN.
French Daily News reports:
NowWeCan (Martillo) had been absent from the track since his win in a maiden at Saint-Cloud at the end of May on his second start. Nicolas Clément’s charge won on his start attempt on the fibresand in the Prix du Tandem(D). He flew in the finish to win by five lengths from Révolution (DutchArt). Nicolas Clément said: This is horse is still brand new and should provide us with some surprises next year. I ran him over a mile first time out but he has a lot of stamina.
This winner was particularly nice as he was bred by his owner, Winfried Englebrecht-Bresges, who isthe Director ofthe Hong Kong Jockey-Club.
NotreDame (Acatenango),the dam of the winner, is a sister of German Gr2 winner Noroit (Monsun), as well as Noel (Acatenango), winner of the Premio Federico Tesio (Gr3)
