WESTERWALD is bred by Haras de Saint Pair and came to SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN to be prepped for Book I of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales in June 2014. However 2 weeks before the sale the impressive colt had quite an severe accident in his box and could not make it to the sales. Trained for his breeder by Andre Fabre, he finished 3rd on his only start at 3 years and was later sold to his current connections.
