The first winner in 2023 for his breeders GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG became COUSTEAU (Holy Roman Emperor-C´EST L´AMOUR) winning at Bro Park in Sweden for owner and trainer Patrick Wahl and ridden by Kevin Parkin.
COUSTEAU was bred and raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and consigned and sold by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales. He is the 5th foal and 5th winner out of C´EST L´AMOUR, a multiple winner by WHIPPER out of German Oaks winner CENTAINE
