Fantastic Moon, an exceptional talent on four hooves, was named Galopper des Jahres/Horse of the Year, an accolade that not only honors the extraordinary achievements of the horse on the race track but also the commitment and dedication of all those involved behind the scenes.The ceremonial honor was presented by Dr. Michael Vesper, President of Deutscher Galopp, the German Jockey Club and co-owner of Fantastic Moon. In his speech, Dr. Vesper emphasized the importance of teamwork and partnership in racing: This success is the result of tireless work, great passion, and a deep connection to horse racing. Fantastic Moon symbolizes what we can achieve together.The owner group Liberty Racing, trainer Sarah Steinberg, and breeders Graf und Gräfin Stauffenberg were also honored and acknowledged for their relentless effort and dedication. Their expertise, passion, and commitment have been crucial in allowing Fantastic Moon to reach its full potential and achieve impressive successes on the track.

Sarah Steinberg, Fantastic Moon´s trainer, highlighted the special relationship between the horse and its team: Everyone in the team has made a unique contribution to this success. Fantastic Moon has inspired us all with his courage, strength, and willpower. This award belongs to all of us.“
